Ingredients:

  • Crust:
    • 1 cup (237 g) water, warmed (about 105°-110°F)
    • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
    • ⅓ cup (75 g) vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
    • 2 ½ cups (312.5 g) all-purpose flour
  • Cinnamon Butter Topping:
    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Crumble Topping:
    • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
    • ⅔ cup (133 g) granulated sugar
    • 6 tablespoons light brown sugar
    • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
    • ½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, melted, cooled slightly
  • Glaze:
    • 1 cup (125 g) confectioners’ sugar
    • 1-2 tablespoons whole milk

Directions:

  1. Begin by preparing the crust. In a large bowl, combine water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Add oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture and stir to combine. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a pizza pan with parchment paper. Transfer the risen dough to the pan, working it to the edges. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. For the cinnamon butter topping, combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir to combine.
  4. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing flour, sugars, salt, and melted butter in a bowl.
  5. After baking the crust, brush it with the cinnamon butter. Spread apple pie filling over it, followed by the crumble topping.
  6. Bake for an additional 13-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
  7. For the glaze, mix confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the warm pizza.
