Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, and orange juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
