Slow-Cooker Turkey Breast Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 1 bone-in, skin-on turkey breast (about 9 pounds, fully thawed)
  2. 1 sweet yellow onion, roughly chopped
  3. 4 carrots, cleaned, ends trimmed
  4. 4 celery stalks, cleaned, ends trimmed
  5. 2 sprigs fresh sage (optional)
  6. 4 tablespoons salted butter
  7. 1 teaspoon Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning (or your favorite all-purpose seasoning)
  8. 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  9. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  10. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  11. ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place vegetables in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Add turkey on top of the vegetables.
  3. In a small bowl or saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk in all seasonings.
  4. Pour seasoned butter over turkey and spread evenly on all parts of the skin. Place sage on top of turkey.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4-5 hours or until an internal meat thermometer reads 165°F.
  6. Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice and plate with vegetables. Pour remaining juices over top, if desired.
