- 1 bone-in, skin-on turkey breast (about 9 pounds, fully thawed)
- 1 sweet yellow onion, roughly chopped
- 4 carrots, cleaned, ends trimmed
- 4 celery stalks, cleaned, ends trimmed
- 2 sprigs fresh sage (optional)
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning (or your favorite all-purpose seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place vegetables in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add turkey on top of the vegetables.
- In a small bowl or saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk in all seasonings.
- Pour seasoned butter over turkey and spread evenly on all parts of the skin. Place sage on top of turkey.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4-5 hours or until an internal meat thermometer reads 165°F.
- Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
- Slice and plate with vegetables. Pour remaining juices over top, if desired.
